Bridge to bridge is on the 27th of may. You need to be there early as we are running at 8 am. Paperwork and scrutineering is on saturday. Im not sure it is possible to do it in the morning before the run.
The UHPBC is covering all costs so its totally free.
I need to get back to them with numbers.

Forgot to mention we start from sackville. Its around 28 km. Special dispenssation for ski type runabouts. If you are a pure race boat you must have the usual stuff to pass scrutineering.
All drivers need a life jacket and helmet.

What costs are involved in running on the day? I would also be interested in a familiarization run as well.

Ive just been contacted to be told that we will be running from sackville after all the other boats go through at around 12.30 pm. This is great news as
1 we will actually get picked up straight away if we break down.
2 we drive through when there will be a crowd to see us.
Again I need to know numbers. So far we have
Aggressor, graham howards new build hacker racer, ron filsnells glen l riva look alike, thrifty two, miss september, lil shocker, melodee, red dwarf (maybe). Anyone else?

They need to know numbers. If you are running go onto the uhpbc website and download the entry form. Make sure you mark it vintage boats. You can also enter on the saturday during scritineering.

Im not sure what im doing. Yesterday they told me that they wouldnt let aggressor run then half an hour later they said I could run if I didnt go over 50mph.

Ive really busted my arse to get the boat running. It hasnt been any fun at all. Aggressor is close to firing up but there is always another job to do. Im over it and then this happens.

i cannot understand the apba do they want to have an exibition or not. ive just returned from motorama at tanilba bay(port stephens nsw). 200 cars of all types and two old boats (mine). i had hundreds of people around them taking photos with there kids in them and talking up the run next sunday .i even have an invite to the next classic boat show a toronto ,not just to sit on a trailer but to run them both. we need to flood sunday with all the old boats we can ,including every old hydro and show the apba what attracts the people  :x .ps i also met the gentle man that sold dave his old sedan top race boat.

Yeah im baffled also. I was asked to run aggressor not the other way around. Even though the entry is free im already out of pocket over a grand and the meter is still ticking. This isnt a cheap toy to put in the water.
The fastest growing class in apba america is vintage.
Although im glad that there are more events for our style of boats I wish they could work out what they want before approaching us.
