Hey Alan .
With only that much water out of the pumps they must have
been soaking for a week before hand !! Butterboxes , too easy .
Sounds like a great weekend . And someone mentioned a pub crawl at Nerrrraaannnnderrrraa
that could be rehersed at Yarra .

With that much wit flying around from the butterbox fraternity I would have expected a chip in from Balranald? Very true re the clinkers Alan, trust me I know. I was actually wondering where would be the best spot for the skin fitting for the bilge pump. I might actually make a water cannon and mount it on the bow.....

Is that how you spell Neranderahrah Ric? :o

Awesome cover for Classique Andy :!: Seeing you are the bilge pump guru, any possibility of getting a solar charged one, might help Daza with his battery issues! Or perhaps Daz you could run a couple of solar panels on the deck or make a binimi with a couple

All I've got for you Ric is Cheers :P Chris.

Hope you copped some of the rain saturday night Andy, we sure did. Camper looks good.

I spent all day sunday dismantling the deck on A-Jay, then pressure washing 10 years worth of rats nests and poo out of it. Surprisingly it's not too bad under all that (I think you mentioned very early on Andy that all the straw and stuff might have protected what lay underneath). I only have photos on my phone, so I'll have to sync it with my computer and post some up. At this stage I am still looking at two planks either side to be replaced, and 8 ribs in the forward cockpit, one rib at the back just before the transom.

The last two times I've taken Bullitt out I have left the water in it when I put it away in the shed, and interestingly even after a couple of days, most of it remains in the boat. Last night I took it out and it hardly took in any water at all. Smells nice too with Lavender laundry powder in it habits!
