Guys,
Let me be the first to post for 2012 (not to cut short the 2011 post!)
There has been some disscussion amoungst the commitee and others, about coinciding the Regatta annually with the Melbourne Cup weekend for the Victorians.
This would mean in 2012 moving it to the next weekend of Sat 3rd and Sunday 4th November. (one week later) I have spoken to Lake Talbot and she can move all current bookings as a block forward.
I said I'd confirm in a couple of days.

Fine by me but we ned to find out when the wooden boat festival in sydney is on. They were talking about putting it on later in the year.

Ooops,
must have been asleep, I think all Vics will be OK with it but we will need to let the caravan park know ASAP while there is still room to do the swap. I think the important point at the moment is the problems it will make for interstaters that don't get the extra break, so if anyone has some info that may affect the change can you please post it, or let us know ASAP.

I've had a few chats with a certain auto electrician in our midst, and after much arm twisting from him, he has convinced me that it would be a good idea to have a bit of a pub crawl on the saturday arvo next year at Veranderah. Against my better judgement I agreed to participate...in full regalia of course. Any takers? Darrens? Chivs you little shy petal?

Get a bit lonely up there on the monday arvo did it Darren? Once again, I'm easy, now I'll have to book my palatial cabin for another night. And yes he is almost as good as a Victorian, just like Narelle is a girl but she's nearly as good as a bloke. Thanks god she's not computer literate too.
