Forster Boat Racers reunion

Man there is a huge turn out of boats up here and they reckon more are coming tomorrow.
aIts mix of old and new from my 1929 alfra to a current drag hydro. The lewis skiff bewitched made her debut and turned on a great show with her original driver and passenger in the
cockpit driving lily they were back in 1970. There are several woodies including an amazing barn find seacraft with a holden grey fitted. Its rumoured to be the second one made with just as amazing wooden trailer with wooden mudguards.
There are probably 5 sk styled flat bottoms.
The weather is great so hopefully it should be good tomorrow.

Lucky you Dave! There's a boat 'Miss Q' I think on ebay at the moment, the guy was going to take it up to Forster...have you seen it there? Looks like a nice boat

Trash it was there. To me it was over restored and modernised.

One of the guys took a video of us in Bewitched. I think (or hope) I've attached the file. It was great getting back into the saddle again after an almost 40 year layoff.
BTW, the guy who took this video has almost finished building a Vetnor style stepped hull Hydro. It's an absolutely beautiful looking boat and should be at Forster next year.

the weekend was a blast the reddwarf was going great and i even had the privlage to take bruce sanders for a ride and he enjoyed every minite we must do more of this
