Still trying to establish where we are going to meet. Hopefully, we'll have something soon.

hi guys,

sorry i missed your call tonite greg. Im up at charlton working and phone service up here is terrible.

Sorry i havnt found a definate place to meet. first thing tommorow morning i;ll be on the phone so by ten am i'll have a destination for us. im emailing one place now which would be ideal although i think the only accomodation they have is camping.

What accomodation does every one want??? camping ? cabins etc etc
anyway in the morning i'll ring them all and make sure we have some where to go.

If i havnt listed the destination by 10.30am tommorow please ring me and kick my arse. sorry for the waiting

hey guys

ive only managed to find one place who is interested. They are happy to have us and the owners father originally owned assasin 2. They said camping is not a problem but they are not sure what cabins are avaliable. they suggested ringing them asap and booking if thats the accomodation you are after.

cost for boat and trailer for the day is $20

i relise some people may not like the idea of paying to use thier boat for a day but it will give us somewhere good to park the boats. as greg has shown eppalock is not overly friendly at the moment so id consider this a small charge for the use we will have.
unfortunatly allot of the parks at eppalock are privately owned by ski clubs and the like. The ones that are open to the public dont have cabins or simply dont want us to clog up thier beach for the day and take up the room of thier regulars.
These guys are keen to have us so hopefully we have a good day with them and can make this a regular day for the club.

contact details are :
Lakeshore caravan park
Spillway rd
(03) 5439 2510

tell them you are from the wooden boat club and they will know what you are ringing for

Thanks Brian,
well done, I'm booked in with the bus for Fri and Sat night, they have camping and units and said they will try to keep us in a group. They were not sure how many spots they had so best get in quick.

Thanks Brian

I'm booked in for Friday and Saturday nights as well, neighbouring the Griffiths, I believe.

Took a bit to get through on the phone - just persist.

Below is a map with the caravan park location. A larger map is available at: http://www.g-mwater.com.au/water-resour ... keeppalock
