Dale

It is definitely going to happen. Things have gone quiet, so can I suggest a day trip on Sunday 20th to Eppalock. Eppalock is closest to Melbourne. Bonnie Doon and Nillhacootie are both great spots but are a bit longer haul for a day trip.

Location to be decided.

Brian, I have sent you a PM.

hey guys,
we went out the lake this morning for a run and a good look around. We went and checked out the caravan park i have mentioned earlier, lets just say that its not a caravan park and thats the " social " club who operates it does not want anything to do with other clubs let alone have boats taking up thier precious green grass and soft banks.

so we moved on. next destination ended up being the werribee water ski club and once again they want no part. it seems as though thier was one boat on the bank they dont wanna chance some sunshine and loosing space for any of thier members. much to say every time we go past we rarely see a boat there. moving on

so far the best spot i can find for a get together is about 200m from the boat ramp at kimbolton pool. this spot is on the left of the boat ramp and is very shady. sapplings are around the corner so no drama there. there is plenty of room for us if we get there at a good early hour and the bank seems to be resonable for eppalock. personally i think if we are going to go to eppalock we would be using the boats more then sitting around so i cant see this spot being a bad place for us.

as i said im happy to get there early and save a spot for us but obviously a few of us will need to do this so we get enough room.

I'm still in,
just been busy trying to get a shed up before it rains (yea right), how many are thinking of staying for two days? If a few are, I might bring the bus and stay.
Alan.
