American Motor Show - 2009

Shannons and the AOMC are putting this show on again on Sunday, April 5th. There was over 1000 vehicles on show last year, with all marques dating from the turn of the century up until current. It was a great display.

The organisers have asked us to put some boats on show again at this year's event. We have been allocated the same osition as last year, under some good shade trees. The boats proved very popular last year.

I could still use one or two more boats to display this year. It is the Sunday only, from about 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Flemington Racecourse Member's Carpark. If you would like to display you boat, please contact me on 0408 937 029 or nh35_stormy@bigpond.com.

Otherwise, drop in and say hello. It's a great day looking at acres and acres of Amercan sheetmetal.

I have just run the rake over Steinway and will be there.
Those trees may come in handy to stop the rain.
Will be there around the 8.30am mark.
Doug B just called he is coming with Electric Girl.

Thanks Darren.
I've got Stormy cleaned up after its trip to Gippsland last week.
They are tipping a few showers for Sunday, so hopefully we will stay fairly dry under our leafy umbrellas.
We will have at least five boats on show this year, including a couple of not often seen boats.
This is always a good show and will be the same again this year.

It was a really good day. Six boats on show and I think we were certainly popular with the crowd.
