Goolwa SA get together - Sun 10th October

Hi,
A few of us are planning a get together at the Goolwa Aquatic Club ramp area Sunday 10th of October as a test run before Narrandera.
The water level is at pool level, maximum.
All welcome to join us. Perhaps BBQ lunch, to be confirmed.
Dig Traeger is going to take "The Sting" Hydro for a spin.

Well had a great day with 9 boats and a hydro. Had good weather, water was a bit rough but all had a good day. Come on Narrandra.

Hey, looks like you had a good turn out at Goolwa,not only boat wise but the sun was out too!!
Last time i was at Goolwa, the water level was almost non existant, in fact that marina was totally high and dry, hope that never happens again, us Victorians will have to turn the taps down a tad so you can run your boats more often!!

It was a good day, a bit breezy but that is pretty common at Goolwa.
I believe Paul has been contacted by the Goolwa Wooden Boat festival 2011 organisers.

Jeff, who came down for a look because he used to watch boating at Goolwa when he was a kid, took some photos and posted on this website.
There is also another interesting boat photo as well.
