What a great weekend,
sadly the weather presented a challenge that maybe some didn't want to test, but the event worked out with lots of boating and discussion, already looking forward to next year.

Thanks all those who let me and mine experience your craft.
Alan.

hey guys, we had a great day on saturday, wish we could have stayed for the weekend but time wasnt avaliable. thanks to everyone who had a chat and took me for a run or drive in thier boats.
it was great to see so many people getting into it even though the weather was rather crap.
it was great motivation to get my clinker going and use our boats abit more.

dave, glad ya made it, on our way home we passed 4 boat trailers on the side of the road so you wernt the only one with wheel bearing issues. good thing ya were driving a ford because just about all the trailers i own have ford bearings. hopefully next year you get to nerrandera and home without car dramas or boat troubles.

thanks again
brian

Brian,
glad to see you made it with a boat this year, missed a chance to have a chat, next year you'll have to try for two days.

Hope so Brian,
The best thing about the trip back home was looking at all the water everywhere, with this much water around surely we should get some good cruises in this year.

I heartily agree with all comments above.
It was a brilliant weekend, the weather was only a minor inconvenience.
Thanks to the many that gave me a run in their boats the generosity and trust of everyone sharing boats is something very rare in these days.
The after water meals and entertainment was enjoyable and downright hilarious!
Thanks again one and all

Hi All,
Got home about 9 after leaving at 1. Slow trip home due to plenty of rain for the last 300 k's or so. Contemplated towing the car home with the boat instead...
What a fantastic weekend! One of the best we've had. Katrina and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to meet so many interstate members. And yes, there was a bit of rain be we had enough boat time to keep us smiling for weeks!
Many thanks to all who gave us the opportunity for a run in their boats and those who put the effort into organising. I've really gained a new insight into what this club entails and feel priveledged to have spent a few days with such good people. Already booked accomodation for next year and look forward to seeing you all then!

Just got back today, what a brilliant weekend ! Thanks to all who organised such a fantastic event. I would also like to thank everyone who helped get the "worry" to perfom to something like her best, Alan your a genius !! This was our first club function and i'm hooked, what a terrific bunch of guys and girls. Discussions began at the RSL sunday night for boat number 2. We will be back next year, can't wait.

I probably can't say much more than what has already been said, but what a great weekend. Despite the weather, we still got it together. It just goes to show the strength of this group. Thanks to everyone who came along and made it happen. I had a great weekend and after also coming along this weekend, my son Tim now realises what the old man has been raving about for the past seven years and reckons he'll be there again in 2011. He did also mention somerthing about Andy bringing a mobile phone full of text messages next year.

Also, a special thanks to Al Price for his huge part in the running of the weekend, but also in getting busted boats going again, making the weekend even better for many of us.

Greg
