You are right Greg same as before only backwards, we drove down then backed into the ramp and then tried to do a U turn. Sounds good.

Do you think the old ramp will stay? still think it will be a bit tight to do a U turn to then back it in.

Alan
May be that's the theory. Retain the old ramp for launching and use the new ramp for retrieval. Might need some traffic lights at busy times, though.

Narrandera 2010

Postby Greg » 04 Sep 2010, 12:20

Commemorative T-shirts will again be available for those coming to Narrandera this year.

To make my life a bit easier this year, payment will be by direct deposit into the Club's account by no later than October 20.

Depending on numbers ordered, prices this year will be approximately $30 for adults and $25 for kids (little ones). I will confirm prices within the next few days.

Banking details are:
Bendigo Bank
A/C Name: Classic Australian Wooden Power Boat Association
BSB: 633108
A/C No: 132989179

Shirts sizes below:

Please remember that we do not order any extras. If shirts are not ordered before October 20th, then they're not ordered.

You can count Rebound & Turbo Fire in. Better get out and fire some engines. I'm also keen on the NWSC 'blow out the cob webs day' and will be there provided I can get the cav plate adjusters replaced/re-made on Rebound, in time.

I have just spoken to the new caravan park owners (Barry & Jill took over in March) to confirm the SA cabin bookings.
The lake is supposed to refilled in a couple of weeks as it was planned to be a 6 weeks turnaround and has been empty for 4 weeks now.
The old ramp has been removed and there has apparently also been some improvements to car parking near the ramp, think they might mean the trailer park area.
