Hope they have some water by then, I was there last night on a road trip picking up old car parts and it was empty down at the end where the water slides are at the lower end of the park. Soild mud, it was getting dark so I couldnt see much more of it
Better check and be sure they fill it before then

I seem to recall there was a web site that had a current reading for the water level in Lake Talbot (and others) but couldn't find it. Does anyonme kept the link?

Lake Talbot has been empty at this time of the year for the past couple of years, but as we all know, is usually full for us in October. They can fill it quickly from the Murrumbidgee river. All the same, I usually keep an eye on it. Unfortunately, nobody will guarantee us the water for when we want it.

I used to watch it through this link: http://waterinfo.nsw.gov.au/index.epl?site=410123&ref and selecting Bundidgerry Creek at take off, but this hasn't worked now for a couple of weeks.

Apart rom the normal maintenance work that happens this time each year, maybe the following pics help explain why the lake is empty.

Scott Botterill passed through Narrandera a couple of weeks back and noticed a bit of construction work going on.

So you reverse down the hill to use the new ramp?

Or perhaps you just keep going straight on?

I reckon you'll drive down and basically do a U turn, then back down the ramp.

No more carpark at the bottom.

The old ramp was a pig.
