Carol and I are home safe and sound after a good (but long) run home. Hats off to Craig for organising such a great weekend and Bob for help with last minute venue changes. Also a big thanks to everyone who helped with launching and retrieving boats, as Ross said..at least we have boat ramp etiquette. It was great to catch up with Ronda's previous owner and very pleased to get the tick of approval with the way we are taking care of her!! Speaking of Ronda and all the other boats, I don't think a spanner or screw driver was used for the whole two days with exception of Ross changing a prop. Well done everyone!!

Well that's a wrap up for Eagle Point, or should I say Dawson Cove. A big thank you to Ray and Carol, Greg and Jacquey (I hope I spelt that right), Anthony, Garry, and Stewart, who all travelled a long way to contribute to our weekend. Another thank you to Bob and Brenda for hosting us in their area. It was finally great to bust the shackles of Covid and get together again. It only took 2 years for this meet to happen after the first false start, with most half way here turning around to go home. This time we woke up Newlands Arm and Paynesville drawing a crowd on both days.
Thanks all for making it a success.
Ironically Eagle Point is flat as today!

Ray I think quite a few of us are more broken and worn out than our boats are. I had a lot of trouble starting in the mornings and lacked severe power by the arvo.

Looking good Bob. Oil leak? That's boating isn't it? Oil leaks, water leaks, money leaks, etc

Oil.... can't live with it, can't live without it. Somehow sounds familiar but just can't place it.

That's it.... actually I've only ever changed the oil once and never cleaned the oil filter in the dry sump system. Bloody hard to get to that filer, but must do that one day.
