Good Evening all,

I had a meeting this evening with the Commodore of the Wagga Boat club on behalf of CAWPBA Members.

I voiced our Members concerns about the Inland Classic being too close to our Annual Regatta at Narrandera and that is not practical for our members to attend, also that it clashes with the Yarrawonga Rod Run where we display boats to Promote CAWPBA.

The Wagga Boat Club are very keen for us to attend their event and have aknowledged that the previous dates don't work for our CAWPBA Members,
They have proposed to change the date of the Inland Classic to the 5 and 6th of December 2020.

This Event gives us an opportunity to promote our club and will also give us another date on the Callender for us to meet up and have a great time as we always do.

Any feedback on the proposed dates is welcome.

That is great news as the proposed dates do not clash with the Moorook Muster held in SA so I will have the opportunity to attend both events.
Good to see that both parties recognise that the previous dates did not work.

Hopefully it is adopted. Suppose the only thing that will go against their numbers is the closeness to Christmas.

Just have seen that the vobc has as meeting this December 2019 on that weekend and advertising a vintage veteran time slot at Glenmaggie vic.

Great news Nathan. The more events like these the better.

There will no doubt be some issues with bedding down a weekend that will suit most, but there will always be a clash somewhere, as Ross has pointed out. Just something to be worked through.
