Well after Narrandera lwent home vier Heathcote and swapped invader for screwit and headed home. Friday headed back to Heathcote to pick up the skiff and went to ProStroke engines to look at the oil leak at the intake.
We found the silicone had not aderd to the inlet manifold but had stuck to the block and not sure why but all fixed by 10 an sat . I then got the angle grinder out and took 6mm off each blade and gave it a static ballance .
Prop didn't pas the ballance test before l started cutting.
Then out to the VSBC to catch up with the plastic boy's.
Weather was perfect for their event .
After a few good runs , still rolling the hull so keep trying things. I found that I cant drive in bear feet as the heat from the pipes heat up the ally pedal so may need a heat shield.
Loaded up and headed home only to find in the morning I had a broken gard bracket at the base of the weld.
May be a chance to redesign the brackets and lift them up.
