Unfortunately I will miss this wonderful event again this year.
I need to work - I had shares in Ansett

Haven't been before so am going to give it a visit this year. I'm in, albeit boatless.

Good to hear you're making the trek Doug, I'll see you Saturday. Is Electric Girl broken at the moment?

I will be also joining the convoy of the boatless by road in my case. I made sure I could make it this year, I think it will be well worth the drive to see all the action.
I think Electric Girl is ok and Doug is the broken one.

Thanks Dave. We are attending another get together the week after Goolwa and then playing tourists around your state for a week or so. Look forward to catching up over this weekend.

Finally have a chance to post a comment about this years Goolwa aquafest. As usual this was a great weekend, this year having more time to catch up with people on the Sunday as the spirited demonstrations had to be reined in due to a lack of water (still got me stuffed as to where it went). Pagan ran beautifully and had no problems apart from the rudder bush bolts falling out, had some spares and some loktite and the problem was solved! Had some fun on the Saturday doing some runs with Sir Frank in the Jet while being filmed by a camera boat........the Jet (and Frank) are movie stars now so it was good to be invited to bask in the glow. I'll let Frank explain! Would like to thank Glenn Treager for allowing us to leave Pagan with them while we swanned around Kangaroo Island, what a magnificent place that is!! cant't recommend it highly enough. Spent some time yesterday and today working on the Hartley and have finally finished the cabin and reinstalled the windows, now the final fitout can begin.
