After dearly beloved just advised me that Balranald is this weekend , I thought I'd better wet the boat out.

So, after putting buckets under the three known leak points, I threw about 40 litres of water in it. Well, that amount lasted less than 5 minutes. Water was coming out everywhere. More buckets, tins, cups under the hull, including a large tub under the most problematic leak at the turn fin and then threw more water in it again. More leaks from all over. They were filling so fast, I couldn't keep up :( . The shed was flooding. I thought, "Bugger this" and ended up dragging the boat out of the shed and putting under the gravelled carport. It looks like I have an Eddy that's turned into a leaky Lewis.

The boat got a talking to: "You have three days to tighten up, otherwise I'm leaving you at home and drinking beer all weekend! 8-) "

I am sorry to report that I will miss Balranald this year. My Dad is quite unwell, and I can't travel to far away from the hospital.
I missed the wonderful Tassie Event a little while ago, and things have not changed greatly over the last month.
The family were really looking forward to getting together with everybody at Balranald, but unfortunately the situation is not so good.

No problems Darren. There will be other get-togethers.

Family first - always.

Every bit helps Ross.
Great weekend with great people.
We were worried about the Yanga lake water levels, with good cause as the lake wasn't useable for us. Gladly, Andy came up with another stretch of water reasonably close by.
You can see in the picture below that it was a bit tight with seven boats on it, but we managed. :D

Karen and I had a great weekend ,a special thank's to the people who helped get B Pee on and off the trailer . Andy's found us a great spot , not a sign of a jet ski or wake boat , the butter boxes were the main stayers on Sunday ,I think a good Saturday night slowed all the mature boat owners up and we settled on a couple of beers and a yarn on Sunday . With a few minor adjustments B.Pee will be ready for a trip to SA next month .
