Good to see there is some water entering Yanga, hopefully we will get enough.
But remember we have water at Kialite, Boga, Kangaroo, Swan Hill, Robinvale and Mildura at a pinch.
Basically plenty of Plan B's
Cheers
Darren

Great News Ken,
Looks like we have a fair crew heading up. looking forward to it!
Andy I believe the water may have slowed a little, do you think that Euston on the Murray would be a good backstop, if we cant get the water levels in Yanga?
It's only a little up the road and Ive heard that its pretty well windproof.

Hi Darren and members,
You could say the water has slowed a little! Between work last week I finally managed to contact the person in charge of the Park. She seems to think that the inflow of water is barely covering the evaporation rate. Well derrr, when you try and fill something that big in the middle of summer with creeks choked with weeds and trees, the water just isn't going to flow. So, unfortunately Yanga is a no go at the moment, their public meeting in October where they told us 3 metres of water in the lake for summer was just a bullshit session to make them feel warm and fuzzy. There is alternative water about as Darren mentioned, Euston on the Murray seems the stand out destination but as always the decision can be made on the day as to where will enjoy ourselves
