Yes to the great weather, a beautiful top of 32 today, same tomorrow. The photo I posted is from a magazine article dated August 2nd 1961. The pages were handed to me today.I will have a copy on hand for everyone's perusal at an unknown destination for an undetermined social gathering. I was notified this afternoon of the possible attendance of a visitor coming out for a slalom ski next weekend.I think any bloke 69 years old that drives that far for a ski behind a wooden boat will be welcomed by the club. By the way Darren I am sure a Lucas C39 generator would not make enough current to stun anyone's cods, the coil on the other hand is another story for next weekend

Carol and I will be leaving Friday after work, 4 30ish with our big not so wooden caravan and our small no wooden porta boat. Are we looking at 5 hours from Melton Souf?

We had planned on coming to this get together as the Caravan Park is where we stay on our way to Narrandera each year and they have always looked after us. Unfortunately that is not going to happen but I am sure Andy and crew will ensure everyone has a great time. Lucky Buggers.

Shame you can't make it Ross. The next one, maybe . . .

Also sorry you won't be able to get there Graham. I'm sure there would be a motel with a vacancy if you get a late urge.

Home again after another great weekend and a nice grumble free drive. Though the weather may have been a bit sad on the Sunday we all still had a great time.
Thanks to Sue and Doug for allowing the rabble to gather for the BBQ, and and a very well done to Wendy and Andy for their organising, arranging and helping with just about every thing from supplying the BBQ, Bearings and Baking (not in that order)
