Narrandera 2017

Postby Greg » 01 Oct 2016, 09:35

Bit of a reminder that our Narrandera Nationals are only four weeks away now, over the weekend of October 29th and 30th.

We are currently working through the red tape to obtain Council permission and, importantly, the Aquatic Licence, giving us exclusive use of the lake over the weekend.

For those going there is some documentation to download (and preferably complete) prior to the Narrandera weekend, helping streamline the registration process considerably. Also, our AGM will be held along with the election of a new committee. Nomination forms for this are also available for download from the website. Refer http://www.cawpba.com/CAWPBA/AGM.htm

So, who's coming? Let us know and we'll ad the boat to the list:

Stormy
Lady Bird
Jayme II
Rush?
Pagan/Wooden Worry
Butter Box?
Impact/A Classic
Swiftwood
Steinway

We are coming, and hope to be able to actually bring a boat (of my own) although as usual I'm open to offers if any one has something they would like to see get some water time, but has run out of tow bar space.

Now as for the AGM, please note there has been a small change.

A room has been booked at the Murrumbidgee Hotel on Saturday night to accommodate us for both dinner (where we can order a counter meal) from 6:30 pm and also for the AGM, starting later at 8:00 pm. A courtesy bus will be available at our caravan park from 6 pm to take us to the hotel and will be available to take us back later.

There will be no general meeting after the AGM, with the AGM being kept to its agenda of accepting last year’s minutes, President’s and Treasurer’s reports and election of a new committee. (keep those nominations coming in  )

Can you please also comment if you will be coming to the AGM in your post about coming to the get together so we can get an idea of the numbers

Regards,
Alan.
