Hi all, well after much discussion with several providers, the catering for this years event has now been cancelled and we will revert to the well tried and tested BYO method for Sat night. The original BBQ is still in place and another portable will be available on the night.

Alan.

Just a reminder that our AGM will be held on the Sunday of the Narrandera weekend. All committee positions will be spilled, so if you would like to put your (or someone elses) hand úp for a position, now is the time.

Also, council have mentioned that there is a weed problem at the lake. There was a weed problem last year as well, and although it did not cause us a problem, it apparently apparently flared up further into the summer, when the water warmed up some more. Hopefully, it will not cause us problems.

Started packing the ute yesterday, 140 liters of fuel should do it. 7 jerry cans fit neatly across the front of the ute tray. Two large plastic tubs behind them with oil, coolant and other necessities for a trip away. Tool box tidied and sorted. Spare wheel bearing, you never know.

Whistle, paddle, bailing bucket, tow rope and anchor all in.

A boys weekend away, can't wait.

Got the ute serviced today, a complete checkup from front to rear, oil and oil filter, air filter, check all fluids inc diff and power steer and gearbox and brake fluid, adjust handbrake, new brake pads in the front. Checked all radiator hoses and heater hoses, mechanic took it for a test drive, all appears to be in order.

Tested both boats today at Goolwa. Thanks to Dad, Dig and Glen Traeger for their assistance.
Check the wheel bearings and pack, then should be good to go.

We have a member that is after a lift to Narrandera and back. Nathan is based in Glenroy, so the pick up is on the way. He will have a small tent and minimal other gear with him.

If you can help out, contact me at nh35_stormy @bigpond.com and I will get you in touch.

Not finished yet Paul so she won't be making an appearance. Pretty close 'though.
