Hi Guys,
Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it out to the B2B this weekend. Both our cars have gone out of action in the space of a week. What are the chances...

I was out in the shed till 1.30 am getting Atomic ready. After the frustration of a bad set of heads and then random studs pulling through the block. Last night I decided to pull it all apart, Helicoil all the stud holes and put it all back together. Its now ready to fire up. Heres hoping its OK. Too many set backs with the motor. As usual. Im kind of over it all now. If I dont get to run it today Ill probably pull out.

Well Atomic is up and running again. Hopefully it will last the distance.

Atomic fired up tonight without too many dramas. The rest is in the hands of the Gods.

I won I won I won . What an awsome race driving a machine that was determined to kick me out at any moment.
After all that work now I have to go back in the shed and find all the stuff that fell/broke off and clean all the oil out of the bilge and me.

Congratulations and a big well done. Persistence gets you there in the end. A bit of a change with bits falling off the boat and not the engine.
