I do have a couple of other options (boats) but the trailers they sit on are not likely to survive a 2500 odd km journey. I could put a boat/trailer on my old truck but as SWMBO is travelling with me , the truck option is not going to happen !

Help could be at hand. The charming Mrs Price is visiting Hobart at Easter ..... Hope he likes triple Dellorto carbies.

Stuart you are not the only one with preparation problems. This is The Sting after a small mishap at the Wooden Boat Festival loosened the aluminium tunnel sheathing and it needed replacement.

Better this way up out of the water compared to what could've happened on the water if Dig or Glen had done a few more laps.

Glue the alloy down with 3m 5200 and screw it as well. Even better use screws and nuts.
