Australia day 2010

Postby bootlegger » 23 Dec 2009, 00:13

Australia Day will be upon us before we know it. We could do the same as this year at Windsor. BBQ in the morning and then a run up the river or somebody else could suggest a venue.
Ive always want to do something on the Georges River. I dont know much about it though.

I also did a run up the Nepean the other day finishing with lunch at the Nepean Rowing club. We parked our boats at the rowing club dock and walked up the hill to the club. You can have lunch and see the boats from the balcony.
The water is completely still there as no powerboats come down so you dont have to worry about the boats being knocked around.

The only problem we had was the congested ramp at the end of the day.

Im not going ahead with Australia day. Suzie has to work and I really havent had any response so Im going to work as well. I may run the boat down at Windsor later in the day if anyone decides they want to come for a run. Dave 0413766501 :D
