Goolwa Powerboat Picnic - 4th Oct

Postby Thommo » 20 Sep 2014, 12:04

Gday All

We have our first Powerboat Picnic coming up for the summer series at the Goolwa Aquatic Club.

It will be held on Saturday October the 4th from 12 noon, till late.

Its time to blow the cobwebs out of the ol’ girls and get them ready for the good weather approaching.

It is intended to construct a course with southern and northern maker buoys.

Please note though, there will be no ‘closed water area’.

The club will be open including the downstairs Bar.

Regards, Jeff Thompson

Well strong winds delayed the afternoon but eventually we had some time on some reasonable water. Woodies were HiFi, Dodo, Lady Bird, Fury, The Sting & Rude.
Graham brought his plastic boat. Supa Nova, Super Chev & Jamie brought his purple Everingham.

Colin was a very happy man as Dodo went very well. The finish is what we've come to expect from Colin.
