There might have been a Gilflite out there from nemory Nick. I'll see if I can dig up a pic. Not back until Tuesday, though. Patience

You know me Greg, I don't mind being patient....... as long as I don't have to wait  Hoping that the Gilflite was moving under its own power and that you got to have a drive. :)

Nick, cobber mate cock, should of been there!

We could of sent photos of it being safely launched, and floating!

Photos of it being towed, poo load of smoke from exhausts and twenty blokes standing around it smiling who don't own it!

But being the touchy feely tree hugging club we are are none of that, the colour could be an omen?

Hope to see you at Yarra in Jan for a laugh cheers mate!

Well we finally got home. Of course it wouldn't be a road trip without something going wrong. About an hour north of goulburn I noticed a little vibration. It got gradually worse until I pulled over. We got to pheasants nest and pulled over again. Still couldn't find anything wrong. By the time I got to penrith I had convinced myself the bearing must have gone in the tailshaft. I rang a mate to see if I coukd use his hoist.
I got to his workshop and did a u turn when the left rear tyre exploded with a huge bang.
This is the fourth puncture with these god damn twenty inch tyres. This tyre ended up letting go in the side wall. The last got a huge bubble in it on the way to goolwa. Man me and tyres just dont get on.

Made it home with no dramas.
Good to catch up with everybody as usual.
Plan to bring 2 boats again next year but hopefully the Skiff will make it more than just a few laps on Friday afternoon next time.
It doesn't have a serious problem so should be back in action quickly. After spending a bit of time to try and sort it on the weekend, I just decided it was better to be using the time on the water in Jayme II instead, I think the kids agreed.
Thanks, The Drewer family.

Hi everyone, Carol and I have made it home safe and sound. Pagan is tucked away in Yarrawonga ready for next weekend. After a shaky start, having to get the tow car and trailer towed up the boat ramp (thanks Darren) and then fixing said problem (thanks Alan) all went well. Pagan performed as i have always hoped it would..... pretty much faultlessly! A few small gremlins but nothing that a couple of 20c clips wont fix. It was really pleasing to recieve so much encouragement from eveyone and i hope we gave a bit of pleasure back! We would just like to thank everyone who made this such a standout event, you wont meet a better bunch of people. Looking forward to getting to a few more events now, especially Goolwa Aquafest. Will put up links to a couple of gopro videos as soon as i can. If you have never made it to Narranderra you are missing a great event!!!. Ray and Carol
