Brian

Further to Darren's post above, Ric Schoeneur is coming and Frank and Linda Wicks will also be coming along, but as passengers in someone else's boat (the Yarra is too slow for The JET). Blown292 also mentioned coming along. I reckon we will get a couple more after the festival.

i was thinking around ten am would be ok, mainly because people staying in motels etc will be checked out and it will give people from out of melbourne time to get there. also if its going to be hot you dont wanna be idling in a boat getting fried like a lobster. i dont mind wat time

Hey Greg

pick them up on Monday and go strait on the cruise ?
Also what boat ramp will we be using and where is it ?
Ta Ric....

I thought 9 am might be better it also depends on how long the cruise we take as i am heading back to Sa after the cruise.

Paul,
what's the problem, if we go at 10 and are back by 12 you'll still be home for tea the way you drive. Seriously though, by the time we drop kids at school we can't get there before 9:30
Alan.

Paul
I'm happy at any time, I just thought most people would be comfortable with 1000. As Alan says, it should only take a couple of hours - maybe a little longer.

Ric
We will be able to leave the boats at the show as security will remain on Sunday night.
At this stage we will have to launch at the "Warmies" at Willamstown, close to the Newport power station, which is a few minutes drive. There may be another option of closer, but I don't think that it will be a suitable method for our boats. Be aware that there is a fee to launch at the warmies - can't remember how much, but I don't think it's overly cheap. Bring lots of change.

I will print off some A3 size pages of the river and have them available over the weekend and on the day.
