Ahoy all!

Yep I love visiting Australia and like everyone had a ball regardless of the weather.

Great catching up with everyone and surprisingly no Ray stories to tell?

Thanks Hooks and Darren for the Op shop humour and of course the senior citizen who went above and beyond the drees up phase as the Viking gnome, bloody hilarious and could be a welcome addition to the Narranderra antics and high jinks?!

Lucky to still have hair Ross, the smoke may have added some colour to it mate?

Lastly thanks so much to Jacqui and Greg for opening up their amazing home/property to the group and making all so welcome and hopefully I can make the next get together, and as there is less than 6 months to Narranderra I expect that will be the next one as there will be no time to organise one before that, just saying!?!

Best regards and cheers,

Chivs

What a great time was had by the NSW contingent, landed home at 8.30 pm and tipped 4 mm of rain out of the gauge.
Thanks again to Greg and Jacqui for their wonderful hospitality and beautiful property, to fellow members for a great weekend of fun without boats in the water,
you are without a doubt a great bunch of people!
look forward to having a drink with you all some time soon

Yep what a beautiful spot for a tree change Greg/Jacqui!!! Another top night to be sure, to be sure.

Highlights:
- Club Statesman transforming himself into a fearful Viking (after about an hour locked inside his van mind you)
- Great company, even if it was in the midst of the "wine quaffing set"
- Being taught some very helpful Maltese phrases and being able to practice them on Liz The Queen of Malta herself

Thanks again guys, and thanks Ross for the fire-pot which I really wanted to knock off.

Mesuli, MESULI to all of you!!!!

Part of the reason that we were not able to attend the weekend bash was that our much loved Border Collie "Bailey" was a bit crook. Well by yesterday morning he was bad enough that we had to take him to the local vet Hospital. We didn't come home with our dog.
Bailey, the black and white BC was a lovely dog nearly 10 yo. So not an old dog by any means. Stiil active and running around on Saturday afternoon. We gave him to our daughter for her birthday and she was the brave one that made the decision to have him put to sleep.
It would appear that he may have had a tumor that ruptured as his tummy was extremely swollen and he was very aneamic with no energy. We could only be guided by the vet that has known him for his whole life and has seen it before.

So rip Bailey. It's so quiet around here without him. Now I have to find another reason to go for long walks!!

Sad news Peter, like losing a friend. Have seen Pagan footage, its not running real well but....It is running! and that's a vast improvement. Have some plans in place to Improve that.
