Hi Guys sorry but Pagan and I will be no show's tomorrow, i think i have found the reason for the problems with Pagan....looking like it has a cracked head. Considering i have just had the head off and a new gasket fitted, the water in the combustion chambers is a bit hard to explain, the one thing i didn't do was check for cracks. Also have milky oil now. The only other thing i can look at is the water cooling for the exhaust, it worries me that the the water can run back towards the head but don't see how that could happen while the engine is running. It was running with a hose connected for cooling and basicaly did a compression lockup. Not feeling real good about things at the moment!

Thanks to Greg and Ross for catching up at Eppalock yesterday. Shame Ray and Pagan couldn't attend as two skiffs would have really been a sight. As it was,I was overwhelmed by seeing Ross run around in Ratbag. Skiffs truley are by themselves in the boating world with their unmistakable handling style. Always a pleasure to catch up with Greg and Stormy. Thank you Matt

Yes It was a great get together even though It was cool with that southerly breeze .
It was the longest run that Rat Bag had run and a good test for it. the harder you go the better it is , I only rattled 1 wedge loose and 3 bolts on the transom / keel brace .
Thing are getting are better !!!!!!!

Thanks Matt for the opportunity.
It was a good day, albeit a bit fresh at times, but always looking for a reason to throw the boat in the water. Great catching up with you all again.
We got the boats on the trailers just before the white caps appeared. Hope you and Neil faired OK.
See you at Goolwa
