Pencil the Sneddon family for showing off "the Project" at this event if you would like.

There are a couple of things to do before I'm prepared to show it off for the inspection of members.

The boat hasn't been float tested yet nor has the engine been fired up but neither things are required for that day.

Let me know if you would like it there and I will "float" the idea with Megan.

Leave pass?
What's this leave pass?

Haven't had one of those since I was a junior sailor in the 1970's.

Hi Guys,

So by the time the display comes around the seats will be in, the fuel tank possibly fitted, instruments fitted, steering all fitted up.
Should have the name on the boat and it will be getting close to a complete item.
But nothing will be finally connected and the last coats of varnish may not be on the deck.
To look at it it will look like it is a complete unit.
Still want it at the display?
If so let me know what time and where abouts in Willaimstown.
cheers
Peter

In that case we will do our best to get it as complete looking as possible.
I may do an A frame with some progress pics on the reconstruction/ rebuild if you would like.

I've been out tonight and done some work on the cooling system. Installed the hose to the engine sump and then re routed the through hull pickup pipework. Nothing is really nipped up tight yet. Also modified the pipework from the front of the heads to the outlets in the exhaust system.

I have picked up the cushions for the seats. The guy that did them is a pensioner that can always do with some extra to his pension. He did a great job but I'm not totally happy so I've dropped them off to a local motor trimmer to install some zips into the cushions so we can pack the seats out to get them sitting just right. Hey, it's not a Moran leather lounge but I am more than happy with the look and colour selection.
The colour selection was made by Megan and I think she got it just right as far as a match to the colours of the timber for the deck.

For the Williamstown display I may not have the final coats of varnish on the deck but I'll just put a sign on it saying not yet finished, still to be completed.

Cheers
Peter

Still the same Ray. Nothing changed as yet.

I'm not sure what time I will drop off on the Saturday as I have to be in Woodend for most of the day.

I will advise of any changes.

OK gents

Organisers (Geoff Dougall is the main man) will be there most of Friday and from 9am Saturday, all day.

The event starts at 10 on Sunday, so if boats need to be in place on the Saturday.

If you are really struggling, the site will be open from 8am on Sunday for any late arrivals.

Note that there is room for another boat or two if anyone else is intersted in displaying.
