I've sent out an email to all those who have said they are coming to Yarrawonga.

If anyone else is interested in bringing their boat along, please let me know ASAP (nh35_stormy@bigpond.com)

We have booked into a cabin at YARRAWONGA HOLIDAY PARK. Apparently they only have a couple of cabins left, so if you havent booked in yet , you better be quick. see you there.

Greg,
watched the add for the event on TV today, if the event is half as good as the add, it looks like a great weekend.
Alan.

Had a great time at Yarra. Good roll up of boats. Around 20 (10 of ours) if you include the Seacraft guys.
Shame we didnt get a fair run on the water. At least we got wet early on Sunday before the meeting started.

I think we had it all on the weekend. Rain, wind, sun, more rain. Saturday was pretty much blown out, Sunday was looking ordinary in the morning with rain, but apart from a few rainshowers through the day, but proved to be a reasonable day that allowed some racing to happen.

Ten CAWPBA boats on show including a couple of surprises with Pagan and River Jewel joining in. Plenty of interest in the boats with many people remembering a few of the older ones.

Renegade, Al-Falfa and Stormy went for a demo run on Sunday morning thanks to the efforts of Dave Pagano - well done Dave. Latimore Lodge was given a solo demo run in the afternoon and as far as I am concerned was as spectacular as anything else that was racing. That boat is really something and I reckon it would have stirred a few of the newies up if it had competed.

A great weekend.

Folks

My mate (Bill Turnbull) and I were on the point on the main straight for the whole weekend and the highlites of the weekend were; 1/ Aussie Connection going past not more than a few meters from us at well over 100 mph with the Merlin in full cry. Absolutely awsome experience. Words cant describe it, you had to be there. 2/ Latimore Lodge on his demo laps (Phippsy was having an absolute ball) and appeared to be giving it a serve. 3/ GP1, what can I say, he won everything that he went in and didnt even work up a sweat.

I cant wait for the GP Hydro world titles next year.Unbelievable.
