Hi Obstrop, looks like around 8 boats at this stage. I was out on the lake last night until it got too dark and I was in serious danger of being run over by a large plastic boat disguised as a commercial squid trawler. There was no wind, and it was still around 40 degrees. Forecast is for 45 today, 41 tomorrow, 36 sunday. Hope you can make it. Cheers, Jon.

Well we were coming to show " the project" but with the weather being the way that it has been over the last couple of days I haven't been able to get the last coat of varnish on the deck.

To be truthful I haven't done anything at all this week, not quite true: name stickers approved, vinyl for seats purchased, foam purchased and cut to size (today).

Mounts for cavitation plate varnished and ready to bolt in place. Also tomorrow when it cools down a bit I will varnish the seat frames. I've modified the rear seat frame and the fuel tank may now fit between the transom and the rear seat back without any modifications. It will just have to be shortened to fit between the exhausts. There is clearance between the top of the tank and the steering tiller.

Vinyl and cushion foam will be dropped off to upholsterer on Wednesday.

Besides it's just too hot to go anywhere or really do anything.
I hope the wet together goes off really well.

Chat soon
Peter

All ready to hit the road in the morning, probably about 6 am. See you at Yarrawonga!
