And, if you can't make it to Goolwa, if you go here http://goolwawharf.alexandrina.com.au/c ... image.html you might be able to see some of the boats, especially Dig in Sting, taking a bit of a run up to the course.

We are about halfway so far.
Got a flat on the hay plain. Pissing down rain and pitch black. Every time a truck went past I got drowned.

Another top weekend.

Here's a small selection of pics of the event, including some aerial stuff.

A big thanks to the GAC and all who assisted in putting this event on. I understand April 11th and 12th, 2015, should be marked on your calendars.

Yep, another fantastic weekend at Goolwa. Great company, great boats and some great organising by the boys at G A C.
I'd like to say a big thanks to Dave and Darren for the drives I had of their boats. I was mortified when I saw oil on the bottom of Scrubcat, though I must have broken something. Turned out that the lid came off the breather catch can, probably when we got out of shape on one of the bouys, and sprayed a little oil around.
It was great to see Bob push Rebound out in front of Fury. Just love watching those skiff "demonstrations"
Hope everybody made it home ok and already looking forward to next year.

Thank you to all the CAWPBA members for attending our Aquafest again this year.
We are very grateful to have you guys tow across to be part of the event.
It was good to catch up with all again.

I didn't seem to get the time to take the photo's I usually do, so I will have to rely on others for pictures.

Here's the V8 Skiffs leaving me behind at the start of the first heat.

First turn, Rebound, Fury, Scrubcat, Rude & Linda-K in that order, I think.

The 'ex' contents of my sump after the third lap. :o

I'd love to see a small fleet of non V8 skiffs at next years event.

Thanks again fella's ;)

Cheers
Jeff
