Mate as long as it's going out it's ok, it's when it comes in that it's a problem.

Well Ray, I have the boat so now to see if it starts. I also have the teenage daughter so there is no way that I will be there at 10:00am. Is there only one boat ramp?

We are heading for the south side of the lake so if you come through Ballarat turn left just before the Arch ,at the first roundabout turn right and go straight ahead my guess would be 5 k at the T interception turn right if you get wet you have gone to far . Follow the road around the lake and you will come to a club house and the ramp. Darren there is a cut through from Sebastopol you had better check it on google maps as I don't know the street names but I turn left at Mc Donalds and cut across . Hope this helps.

Back from or wet together at lake Burrumbeet, really great day with huge thanks to the people who turned up. Thanks for your help and patience getting Pagan up and running (just cause a boat starts and runs beautifully in the shed doesn't mean it's going to do it on the water). In no paticular order we had Nick with Suffrajet, Ken with Rascala, Darren with Alfalfa, Jim with Vintage Red and my two Pagan and Hot Stuff. The location is a good one with a good ramp and sandy beaches although by the time we left there were heaps of wake (wanker) boats and jet skis. Pagan performed ok when it actually performed, it can be very bitchy to start so if anyone out there has knowledge of Amal carbies and how to tune and balance them I will be eager to have a chat. Have put a few pics inline. cheers Ray
