Hey Evening folks, Yes a meeting of boaters at this fine museum sounds good to me. Maybe we could hold an auction... MECUM style... All members ..go get the old ladys MERKIN out of the draw and lets go !! What about a low key swap meet with drinks and stories attathed ? I'm in for sure.

Has any one had time to look at a date to meet ?,If need be, ring around the friends that you talk to from time to time and get back to the site with some ideas to help organise a day that suits most people.
Its hard to do any thing if no one speaks up,
This could be a cruse for the boats that could not make it for the display, finished or not complete .

Just had a look over the Shep display, well done to everyone involved. Great video presentation with one glaring omission, not one piccie of a certain yellow boat! Standards must be kept i suppose. Cheers Ray and Pinkie

OK, I'm going to put this back where it belongs.

Went to the Shepp Motor Museum today and caught up with Ross, Doug, Nick, Matt, Doc, Ron and Steve. Had a great lunch at Nagambie before heading on to Shepp. Got there to find the display had been moved around to accommodate some more vehicles, meaning the boats were spead across in front of visitors as they enetered the display area. Much better. You walk in and there they are, right in front. Most impressive. Talking to Graham at the Mueum, they have had an extremely good response to the boats, with individuals and groups coming from all over to look at them. Additional media coverage as well and I believe even "Coxy" (Coxy's Big break) visited the museum.

The museum want us to extend a couple of weeks to be there for a museum function and for the Shepparton swap meet. They also would like to see us back next winter. Great news!
