Hi Greg and Members,
Classique is a definite non starter, untouched since dismantling. Made an offer on a seacraft last week but have not had a reply. Hope to be in Narrandera approx 6 pm Friday, see you all there!

Took boat out Saturday for it's first run of the season after a bit of a valve rebuild over winter as #5 and #8 had 50psi compression (engine reinstalled Friday night) and had a couple of carby issues from sitting. Sorted these out and finally fitted a PCV valve.

Just sorted why my left temperature gauge is not working-needle stuck on top of pin, just off to reinstall! Then sort the right trailer tail light.

My wife and I should hit Narrandera at about 1 to 2am. Hope the bloody roo's will play nice!

Sorry - forgot Al was bringing the Eagle.

List will be updated.

Started Stormy for the first time since cooking it on the Yarra some months ago. I thought that old 272 was going to tear itself out of the hull. It was making some horrible grinding noises, enough to make me shut it down. I walked around the boat 3 times and had a think about what it could be. Started it again and all was good. I'm still trying to work out whether it was the 3 times around the boat or the think about it that fixed it.

So you think we should check the boat over before leaving? It went alright last year, what could possibly go wrong?

Might see you at Shep Greg (will have Melinda to translate for Stuart)
