We can't get away till friday afternoon, taking the caravan so will be a slowish trip. Tested my little hydro today and while it's not going to set the world on fire it is fun!! cheers ray and carol

Im having a frustrating time with getting things done it seems to me whenever I get somebody else to do something for me it turns to crap.
This morning I dropped my commodore wagon off to get a towbar fitted. I went to pick it up and there is my car all pulled apart. The guy reckons a bar cant be fitted to my car because of the lpg tank bracket.
Im looking at it thinking where is the problem.
After a fair bit of toing and froing I told them id fit it myself. they were adamanant that it couldnt be fitted. Now im drving my car with the rear bar removed and another project for tonight.
It really frustrates me that as soon as a person has to think outside the square they give up.
Ether way ill be at nerranderra on friday with bells on.

Dave yes the tank is leaking spoke to repco today and you can get a quick fix pach so thats what its getting.had the wheel bearing checked today they are stuffed, they have to come from melbourne over night because no one has wheel bearings for fj holden in Adelaide. It had better be good whether for the weekend after all this.

Paul dont worry about getting them from Melbourne they will cost you about $80 a side. They are heaps more expensive than hr type ones.
I got the towbar on no problems. It went straight on the way I said it would.
Of course the dickheads wired the trailer plug and now the car only has brake lights when the headlights are off. I have no idea what they did. More wasted time taking it back as im hopeless with wiring. Man im over getting people to do stuff.

love to go to nerandera I need a break .been at several big fires, and im on a list to go anywhere .plus the hydro and crackerbox need a little tlc nearly finished trailer mods for thrifty . made new exhaust (need better quality welder, but they seem to work. gassless mig is crap ) .did new shaft seal and reattatched catch can . and ive fitted a bar the same as classic racing that hooks to an eye under the bow to secure the boat to trailer as the old post and pin was ripping the front apart.also im selling the house to buy an acerage to live on with a large shed to house the boats .im over painting a renovating. have fun bee good see some of you at taree

im working every day this week and I should be doing the boat not trying to sort out somebody elses mistakes.
