Thanks Nick, (for not mentioning mine)
and thanks to all the brave souls who ventured out, though slightly cooler than optimal it was a great day with six boats fronting.
Was also a pleasure to be at another launch of a hand built classic, can't wait for another ride in it at Narrandera.
And thanks Ross (MacGyver for proving nothing is impossible)
Well, just a bit of polish (for those who actually put their boats in) and it's off to the Nats.
Alan.

Re: Pre Nerrandra get together
It was great to launch Kestrel with the Club present and to meet some fellow wooden boat enthusiasts. It was a thrill to get the boat into the water and fun to drive. Thanks Nick for the posted photos. We are looking forward to more at Nerandera, planning for a trip up the Yarra today, can never have too much!

Re: Pre Nerrandra get together
It was a good day, despite those of us who turned up late and didn't even put their boat in! Bit chilly, but that's what you get down here at this time of the year.
Great effort Ross (more about that in the next newsletter) and well done Peter with a faultless day's running for first time in the water.
Man, ply boats everywhere!
