Hi Ray, there will be a few floating in throughout friday so pop in when you land in Yarrawonga, maybe even put the Worry in friday evening and get the mandatory break-down out of the way early so we can work on it all weekend

Saturday night will be a bbq, nothing flash, I'm still only allowed 1500 calories per day so if everyone else could adhere to that as well that would be wonderful.

For everyone's benefit so you don't have to scroll back through the postings, my address is 8 Rosemary Court, Yarrawonga, phone 0418584448, Jon.

PS. After discussions with the club powerbrokers it has been decided that we will make this wet together an official club sanctioned event. I might pass it over to el presidente to put up a post outlining what that means for everyone....

That also means we get to use the club banner, so, sorry you NSW ski-jumpers, no banner for you

Hey Hooks .
1500 cals a is about 5 beers OR 1 bourbon and Coke a day!
Over the 3 days of the Yarrawonga Extravaganza you can have 15 beers OR 3 bourbons and Coke.
Not a difficult decision (for me) , BUT remember eatins cheatin !!!

As we have decided to make this an official CAWPBA event, it essentially means is that only timber boats can participate and that the owners of those boats must be a current financial member.

Note that the lake, including the area we will operate from, is not exclusive to us. It is still a public lake.

If there are any non-members who were looking to join in on the weekend, you can sign up as a member on the day.

Aaaaarrrgggh, god only knows what shennanigans you'll be confronted with when you arrive Darren!!! Stay as long as you want, the bloody big great whopper of a bus will be laying around somewhere with its palatial rooms available. I believe that bus is like Dr Who's Tardis - looks small from the outside but is massive inside.

I've lost count of the number of boats coming now, but I think the award for most consistent fronter-upperer with a clinker that doesn't go will have to go to Matt from Shepparton - he is bringing his boat again, this time with a 400 chev gaffer taped to the bearers!! That still counts as another clinker in my book. Apart from Ray, has anyone else ever brought a boat to two wet togethers and not had it running?

Scotto I missed your call last night, but for yours and anyone elses benefit, the number of the accomodation joint near our place is : Woodlands Lakeside Motel, 03 5744 2355. I might even book a room there for Narelle and I yet, and leave Commodore Chivers in charge of the night shift/s.

Cheers for now, Jon

Hooks, pretty familiar with the "Tardis" when it moved into another dimension recently, I found Steinway. Got more guarno deposits than Nauru.
I think I can chisel enough off to get it to run tho.
Shenanigans on Saturday! El presidente must be bringing the chaps from the Mardi Gras of 2001, MRS Alan will bring the feather duster, and I'm sure I've got a rubber chicken somewhere?
Ray prediction you'll be floating on Sunday......you haven't put another coat of that impervious yellow paint on Worry have you?
;)
