Melbourne Boat Show

Postby Greg » 08 Jun 2009, 08:24

The club will be displaying some boats at this year's Melbourne Boat Show. We will be in the main hall this year, not in the concourse area as has been the case in previous years.

Dates are July 2nd to July 6th.

More details will be included in the next newsletter.

The previous post and the newsltetter that will be out next week state that we will be in the main hall at this year's show.

Wrong!

We are in the concourse again this year. Is that good or bad? Well, at least you won't have to pay to come along and say hello now because the concourse is free.

It's all happening at the Boat Show.

It was fairly quiet for the first couple of days, but we had a great day yesterday with plenty of interest in the five boats on display. I reckon today should be at least as good as yesterday. Definitely better on the concourse than inside.

I've got to agree with Darren. "Ol Skool" is just superb and is like a magnet, drawing people to it as soon as they see it. Lots of ooohs and ahhhhs. All boats look great with the group proving very popular, with another excellent response today.

Brian
Thanks for dropping by and spending some time at the show. It's quite interesting seeing it all from the other side of the rope. Glad you enjoyed yourself.
