Hi All, do we have any idea of numbers for the run up the Maribynong. Just had a look at the long range forcast and it's saying 18 degrees with possible light showers. I'm still keen. cheers Ray. ps we now have a nice new concrete floor in the shed and are close to having the parking area out front done in crushed rock. Now to fill it!

Ray,
I'm still in, (can even offer Greg a lift if he wants) will bring an extra brolly. The longer we wait the worse the weather will get.

Hi Guys, have just revisited the BOM site and it's telling me Saturday will have showers and 25km WSW winds rising to 35km mid morning. That wont be a problem up the Maribynong but the run too and from the boat ramp is open to the elements and can be choppy. As an alternative i would like to offer up the christening of my new shed and the unloading of a skiff( which Brian is bringing down from Bendigo) into said shed complete with BBQ and some frothies. Any excuse for a get together. I'm in Brookfield (Melton) and all are welcome. We can still do the cruise if thats what everyone wants but i will have to be a late starter. Cheers Ray

Sounds like a good plan to me Ray, I'm not to keen on surfing the boat back onto the trailer so I'd prefer a good excuse to talk crap instead.

Last time I was under the westgate in splinter it was nice weather and it was still pretty choppy trying to stick to the low speed limit, so i can imagine it would not be too much fun this time.. Sounds like a good plan to change to another time:roll:
