Wet together at Lake Burrumbeet

Hi Guys, i'm looking at doing an informal get together at Lake Burrumbeet near Ballarat sometime in the next two weeks, mainly as a shakedown for Ken Lemin's newly restored Zarak. The lake is very weather dependent and I can only look ahead 10 days for approximate conditions. The Lake has excellent free camping options as well as toilets. If you are interested in joining us keep an eye on this thread and i will pencil in dates as soon as the weather seem appropriate.

Had a bit of a look ahead this morning and the weather seems to settle on the 20/21/22 of October so after talking to Ken we have loosely booked in those dates

In consultation with Ray we are going to push the dates to cover that weekend as well i.e. 20-24 Oct. Everyone can be free to come as go as you please on whatever day suits. Fingers crossed for the weather.

Above is a clickable link with directions on how to get to the camping /boating area. It's on the south side of the lake, nowhere near the caravan park!!
At this stage Wednesday and Thursday have the best weather but the temps seem ok for the weekend, maybe just a bit wet

We're thinking Fri for a few days but are watching the weather, if it does turn bad may just drive up for the days (married to an actual worker )
