As most members would be aware from the latest newsletter, the Victorian Speed Boat Club will be celebrating its 70th Anniversary this year. The date of September 8th has been decided.
The VSBC has invited us to display some boats to help celebrate the event. There will be a static display as well as, hopefully, some on water displays as well (the latter to be confirmed).
The event will begin at around 10am and run until around 4 pm, when some live entertainment will come in for a couple of hours. There will then be a dinner in the club house and more entertainment from then on.
On-site camping is available for those who wish to stay overnight.
So, we are looking for boats to go on show. We are especially looking for boats that have a history with the Victorian Speed Boat Club.

I indicated an interest to run Aggressor at this but things arent working out well for me to make this happen. Im kinda frustrated as i think she needs to be there.
Re: VSBC 70th Anniversary
I thought I might drag eagle over for this but I need to put the boat some where after as I would be staying in the city and any idea where I could put it.
Re: VSBC 70th Anniversary
We'll find somewhere Paul. I'll call you later.
Re: VSBC 70th Anniversary

Re: VSBC 70th Anniversary
Refer to the first post for more details.
We (CAWPBA) should have about 9 boats on display at this event. Most boats have had some association with the VSBC over the past decades.
It should be a good day (and night).
Look forward to seeing you there.
