Al,
Was that the thing I have been tripping over for a year!
Boat still hanging in mid air on the gantry.
The trailer department are behind schedule.
Not Sunday at this stage I'll be in contact.........
Darren

Greg,
I remember that day.
The front of the boat was falling off, it was rough,
and dancing 6 inches left and right the rear was going straight.
Didnt tell skiffo just gave it to him to drive....I still remember his face
(and the swearing)

Darren

Yeh, I remember it well. His explanation of what was happening left nothing to the imagination :o. I actually censored the video and deleted it .

What was also memorable was the sound of that 327. It sounded much better on the day than on the video.

Nah Greg got enoough fishing boats, removing it from a farm just out of town, strip it and tip it.The extras that are visible are wb holden doors and mudguards, it has an interesting steering wheel on it though.I thought cav plate may have suited Hooksters project but a look in the daylight hours may seal its fate to the local tip for another boat burning ceremony.

hey guys

darren : u better get into the shed and get that boat done. will be great to see it up at nerrandera

thats gta be a 1400 series boesch in the headlights??? maybe or maybe not

was good to see ya today ross. Today i made a heap of progress on the boat but no cash because i didnt go to work :P

new engine mounts are in and engine is now bolted in. its only taken 5 years but now its done. wasnt overly hard so im not sure why its taken so long.

the deck has been removed but bugga me what a job that was. never again will i epoxy ply only the frame work then secret nail, epoxy then screw the solid decking down. what a bugga of a job it was to remove. only took me three hours.

now ill have to make new deck frames because all the screws ripped the old ones to bits but this should all be done tommorow.
at the moment its full steam ahead and im excited to be working on the old girl again.
hopefully by the end of next week i will have all the new deck on the boat and will be building the seats and getting the seats trimmed. it wont be long and nerrandera will be here so im going to make sure ive got the clinker there. after all the ply boats are taking over so we need some clinkers up there
