Just an update. Last weekend we started back on ALFRA. Im hoping to launch her at Easter at The Wooden Boat festival at Toronto. Most of the work recently has been on getting the windows to go up and down properly. Fitting the lining boards.
Today we are dismantling a Holden engine to test fit it.
The original Universal needs too much work to have it right for Easter.
Its a long shot but fingers crossed.

Hi Dave, just wondering 2 and a half years later, how does she look?
And how is Aggressor traveling of late?
I`ve had lots of fun the last 3 years re building that 1956 Griffin yacht I mentioned in a previous post called Boongown. It was very difficult and testing to say the least, with most of the rebuild carried out on the mooring. Its now another beautiful piece sitting on the water to be admired. I`ll get some pics up some day to share with you guys of the journey I`ve been on.
Hope all is well.
Eddy

Well I can't believe it's been so many years. I searched back on this blog and noticed most of the pics are gone.
Is there any way to get them Back?

Dave, I think you'll find that the pics that are missing were imported from some other source and have gone missing from that source. All pics ever loaded on to this Board are still there.

I'm not sure how they can go missing? I guess I should have saved it all somehow.
Man this resto was all documented. It's a shame.

The same as the aggressor resto. Rob took that all down when he had that tantrum.

If you have the pics, they can be uploaded anytime. Nick probably still has them. Rob's pics might be a problem.

This is why we stuck with the Bulletin Board and not relied on all the other "ego" media.
