Well done mate. It was a gift at that price. There is nothing better than driving a hydro.

Hi Peter,
the new hydro looks great! That DOHC Toyota (looks like) 6 will sound sweet! I must admit I am a bit partial to a hot straight 6, can't wait to see what the Jag in Wildfire sounds like as well. I have a new FG turbo Falcon, sounds good and goes real well.

Cheers Chris.

Hello again chris the hydros engine is a 7mg 6 cylinder toyota sresseda motot in standard form running 3x38mm webbers instead of fuel injection ,a little cosmetic work and a freshen up of the engine will see her running .thats after i ahve finished my daughters horse float which is near completion. so a couple of months time should see me out in her .

That boat went pretty well with that powerplant. It will be perfect for racing at Touckley

Peter,
the hydro will go well with the Cresida engine. Looks great, good to see something a bit different. I think of all the japanese sixes over the years and can't say that I seen a bad one. They all are pretty much smooth as silk (especially the straight ones) and pretty gutsy for their size. Even the old 70s Sklines etc. Look forward to seeing it run sometime.

Cheers

Chris.
