I pulled out a whole pile of my old boat videos. I watched all my boats running. I cant believe its been well over ten years, Greg even had hair (well more than now) back then  Man time flies.

Agree Dave

It's good to look back over the old stuff, even if is not really all that old. I can nearly even remember the days I had that hair you refer to :(
I have just posted a video of our recent Paynesville weekend. There is a link from the BB and it's also on the site.

I came across the State Library of NSW website whilst chasing info on Sunbeam11.
Some of you might be familiar with it, but for what its worth, there is some great photos of racing skiffs etc.
I reckon theres even a photo of Dave P's latest prize boat.

I'm no wizard with computers, so if the link doesnt work try highlighting it and pasting it in the address line at the top of the page,
or google State Library of NSW,
click on,Search our collections,
click on Mansusripts, oral history and pictures
type in speedboats, click on search, and bingo (hopefuly)

Worth a look, good luck

Some cool pics of old boats. My favorite is Firebolt. A stepped hydro design by Wackett (aeroplane designer). Firebolt was unique in as much as it had a puller prop in front of the step. The hull was powered by an Maybach zeppelin engine.
It rolled on Rose bay probably becuase the motor was too tall and heavy.
