Torrubarry

Hi guys, spoke to Parks Vic. today regarding camping along the Murray river around Torrumbarry and have been told there is no free camping from Headworks road to Torumbarry weir due to roadworks on the river rd. I'm guessing due to the heavy rains. I'm afraid i for one am not heading up now as there will be nowhere for me to put my van. On a brighter note Maritime NSW have told me there are no restictions on river use, except for the Murray river marathon which happens every year anyway. Hope this helps anyone heading up that way.
