When my dad sold Tomboy he kept the plaque, so it has now been returned and fixed to the blackwood dash.

So it floats and goes, now to finish her off, this is the celery top pine gunwhale fitted and read for trimming, sanding and a bit of sikkens.

Construction of a cover for the engine and exhausts. The engine cover will make a great day lounge, very civilised.

Fitting of the name plate to the windscreen sides and to take the sharpness off the end of the screen sides. I got permission from our boating registration authority to register the boat by name only, rather than have about 10 numbers on the hull.

Mr Bruce Maxwell Sault enjoying the fruits of his labour up at Meadow Bank (fresh water boys and plenty of room to give it to her!) Spent the day up there, tried to attach a couple of earlier photos but still too big, maybe later or whatever.

This is for Bauchy and Nool and maybe others. Tomboy was never built to water ski behind, but if anyone was going to do it, it was going to me. Roughly rigged up a bit of a harness and off I went.

Last one for now, she pulled me out with arms still in shoulder sockets. The wake probably more suited to wake boarding than slalom but very satisfied to of had the experience.

thats brilliant, love the boat but the last pic made me giggle. i bet you were stoked to be skiing behind tomboy.

Nice one Allan, I have actually been looking in the junk shops for a decent old style turntable with the big wooden speakers to mount on the engine box to play some old 38's my dad still has, that'll get the dooff dooff ers lookin!
