Starting to look good, hull now painted white and bottom black. Next worry is cutting the holes into my beautiful transom for the exhausts.

Re: A Tasmanian experience
I know what you mean about the clamps, i had to do a scrounging run half way through putting the deck on the "WORRY" and i had an even dozen, nowhere near enough !!
Re: A Tasmanian experience
Blue gum engine beds which have been squared up, shaped, cut and fitted ready to be secured to the hull. Photo also shows that I spent a bit of extra time cleaning up the hull planks where the engine will eventually be fitted, sealed them with a clear finish.

Re: A Tasmanian experience
Next worry, which required lots of discussion about method and execution to get a hole through the keel for the prop shaft. As a result we drilled a pilot hole first just in case it tracked off and ended up comming out the side instead of the back.

Re: A Tasmanian experience
To start with we worked the borer in by hand to ensure it followed the pilot hole, later to quote Bruce "It was a honeymoon job; straight in and beautiful!"
