Ah yes, Family and I flew in last night to usual fantastic Tasmanian hospitality and magnificent scenery.
Had some cremated beast washed down with some local pale ale for dinner at "The Ball and Chain" with Captain Chivs last night and breakfast at Beaujangles this morning.......Then cruise through the Opening Regata on Tomboy - spectacular!
Dinner in South Hobart aside a meandering Hobart rivulet that is the source of Cascade's Beer product - Food, Wine, Beer and boats.
I know where the Fat come from in Fat Pigeon!

Ahoy all!

All good here, forecast 33 today so those that are here and missed the briefing make sure you have hats and sunblock, beer provided, sorry pink bits byo bubbles!

I assume photos to follow of all the sights, one unexpected one is the boat called Tuesday that is berthed alongside Tomboy! hopefully it's still floating otherwise she may have taken Tomboy with it!

To be continued, The Captain, cheers.

Methinks there's a lot of jealous people on the mainland, and I'm one of them.

Brilliant night of wooden powerboat hospitality at Stuart and Sarah's magnificent period home in North Hobart. There were many displays from Stuarts collection and a couple of additional craft from Captian Chivs. I think all the mainlanders attended along with a few others. On a personal note it was great to catch up with Terry Moran and share some amazing skiff and boatracing stories from the day. On behalf of club members and guests I'd like to thank Stuart and Sarah for throwing their home open to us... A great night was had by all!
Cheers Darren, Liz, Luke, and Mia
